US Newswire-Declaration of Ohio in the budget from Ohio health care Association

COLUMBUS, Ohio, on December 1. July 2011,/PRNewswire-USNewswire/-Ohio health care Association Executive Director Peter Van Runkle today issued the following statement regarding Ohio's biennial budget, which the Governor John Kasich signed on Thursday, 30. June 2011.

"While we appreciate the restore part of the funding for skilled health care, which was in the breakdown of the budget of the State, represented only about one-fifth of the total reduction. The remaining pieces come out of the care of some of the Ohio in the most vulnerable citizens, particularly the frail older Ohioans who have selected qualified medical devices, because they need a level of care, which their families couldn't deliver at home, even with external assistance. "We are very concerned that this budget will reduce the quality of care, leading to potentially thousands of lost jobs between the dedicated stand and restrict access to a qualified health care as they are forced to close."

Association of health care in Ohio is a nonprofit association of more than 700 qualified medical facilities, assisted living communities and providers serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, representing more than 50 000 individuals. Many members of the OHCA also provide a series of home and community based services.
